This free event will introduce selected sculptures and paintings by Maltese artists through large scale projection. The artworks are captured with specialised lenses and videography techniques an aims to portray a new perspective of the artworks. It travels from 20th century to contemporary art accompanied by a music soundtrack to create a unique son et lumière experience celebrating Maltese art.

Nicknamed the ‘Hendrix of the hurdy-gurdy’, Guilhem Desq, son of an instrument maker, reanimates the medieval instrument by playing a variety of genres on it, including traditional European folk, contemporary rock, and heavy metal, among others.

Theatre on the sea, precisely on the front deck of a 38 metre long two masted vessel – The Fernandes. The Grand Harbour will be the scenography of this theatrical narrative of historical anecdotes, while the boat cruises the waters.

Percussionist and composer Luís Bittencourt (Portugal) presents a sound installation for vibraphone, glass tubes and dripping water inside a 17th century underground water cistern beneath the streets of Valletta. In collaboration with Heritage Malta.
